Die Nürnberger Prozesse.
Neue Ansätze aus der Sozialgeschichte und Berufssoziologie
Abstract
Based upon findings in social history and the sociology of professions, this thematic issue presents a new approach to the Nuremberg trials. We advance, in particular, two perspectives that have not been previously looked at. Some contributions take a closer look at the staff members who ran the legal and administrative clean-up procedures in occupied Germany, and, related to that, at the formation of new transnational expert fields. Other contributions analyse the professional cultures that have dramatically changed during and after the Second World War.
